Los Altos Pool: Albuquerque Pool Session has resumed at Los Altos Pool on Wednesday nights from 8:00-10:00pm.

Albuquerque boaters:
Pool Session has resumed at Los Altos Pool on Wednesday nights from 8:00-10:00pm.

There has been some discussion on ways to liven up the sessions and stimulate attendance including activities like kayak waterpolo and sponge tag. Please let Sara Traub know what you think of this or if you have any ideas.

The price for AWC/ACA members remains at $4. However, the price for non-members has increased to $10. FYI, the entire $10 goes to ACA for insurance. None of the money even goes to AWC to help cover the pool rental fee, just so you know.

The pool is located in the sports complex at Eubank and Lomas between the softball fields and the skate park.

Announcements

Pool Session volunteers - Due to various life changes of former volunteers, there has been some attrition of names from the list of roll session coordinators. This all-important service to the club needs your help now! Please call Sara Traub, 505-453-4748 to volunteer or see how minimal a commitment this is.

Pool Coaches Needed! New twist to 2nd and 4th Wednesday evening Highland Pool Roll Sessions. We're planning on having designated coaches to help teach rolls or paddle strokes. These individuals need to be either certified instructors or highly qualified boaters. If you are interested in volunteering (we still need canoeists that can teach rolls!) call Sara Traub, 505-453-4748 . If you're looking for help Bob Cipoletti has also offered to assist on a one-on-one basis. Just give him a call at 268-3294 to set up a time.
